Resources for Printmakers WebRing Home Page
Welcome to the "Resources for Printmakers" WebRing Home Page.
This webring was started in order to allow the Printmaker's
Webring to focus on serving people who want to see or show prints.
This webring is for information printmakers themselves might want --
supply houses, workshops, organizations, etc. At this writing I'm just
creating the ring, so things are still developing. Please bear with me.
Who is Eligible to Join
Any site which may be useful to printmakers is welcome to apply. This
may include but is not limited to art supply vendors, workshops,
organizations, publishers and sites by individuals who want to share
technical information about printmaking. Please do not submit sites
which are nothing but links for affiliate purchases at amazon.com or
other companies which have affiliate programs.
Sites submitted to the "Resources for Printmakers" Webring do not have to be completely
devoted to printmaking in order to qualify, but we do ask that printmakers
be a significant part of your audience. Please do not submit sites in which
the viewer must go to a lot of trouble in order to figure out that you
have anything for printmakers at all. It will benefit you and the
printmaking community if you make a separate page which highlights the
printmaking aspects of your site and then contains links pointing to
other areas.
Certainly there will be grey areas and disagreements about whether a site
qualifies or not. Polite discussion about why you think a rejected site
should have gone in the ring is welcome, but please remember that the final
decision rests with the ringmaster.
How to Submit Your Site
If your site meets the guidelines and you would like to submit it, please
use this
Site
Submission Form. After you have submitted your site, you should receive
an email from the webring system which gives you instructions about adding
the required HTML fragment to your site. Your site will not be part of
the webring until it contains an HTML fragment that will pass webring's
automatic checker.
HTML Fragment
The page you advertise in the webring must contain the Printmaker's
WebRing HTML fragment in order to be considered for inclusion. The
original page had a couple of different forms. A copy of the one I use
is included below. The webring software also should send you a template
when you register your site.

How to Edit Your Site
To change your site's URL, description or other information, login to
webring using
this
form. You will need to know the password you assigned yourself when
you submitted your site, plus the site ID assigned by webring when you
added your site.
